Em Client no longer starts even I remove and reinstall old version that was working

After my system attempted to update free account, keep getting this error even when I remove from system and re start older emclient ------ Failed to initialize WM Tracing: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied. at Microsoft.Experimental.IO.LongPathDirectory.create(String path) at Microsoft.Experimental.IO.LongPathDirectory.Create(String path, Boolean recursive) at MailClient.Program.Main(String[] args) OK

At advice switched back to v7.0.28822.0 and problem has gone away.

How do you get older version? My em Client is constantly crashing. I just installed the version available on the website.

First try the database option that I mentioned in your other post. If that does not work, delete the database directory and uninstall eM Client. Then download an older or newer version from http://www.emclient.com/release-history
