eM client is not showing my emails.

eM client has not downloaded any emails for the last week, stating that there is no connection. I have checked the internet settings and everything else works. I am using Windows 10 and have not had an issue previously. Any ideas?

last week I installed eM Client and had a similar problem. My solution was Avast Antivirus. I had to allow the Imap.server as a server at Avast. After that the mails could be downloaded.
