eM Client iOS - search on server not working

Hi,

I have a self-hosted email server with working dovecot full text search with solr.

On other mobile apps (e.g. Spark) the fts is working as expected.

In eM Client on iOS the server search isn‘t working. The option to use server search if possible is activated.
I can see only few search results and in my solr logs I can see that no search on server is triggered.

I guess it should work if there is an option to activate it.

Could this be a bug or does the server search implementation a different incompatible search?

Would be great if this feature would be usable with a standard dovecot server implementation.

Search on IOS App not working for me either.

Searching on email subject reference (the email is displayed on desktop version, so I have the correct reference), but it doesn’t even bother to look it seems as the search response is almost instant.

My settings are for all folders and sub-folders and search has been tried with server search option both ON and OFF - no difference.
