eM Client dropping/disconnecting from my Gmail account

I have used eM Client successfully for about three years now. For some reason it keeps dropping my gmail account.  Sometimes I get an error message, other times the emails just don’t come into the client.  Weirdly I can send an email to myself from my eM Client on my pc and which won’t appear as sent or received within eM Client and yet it does send as it arrives on my iPhone within the Gmail app.   Often it resolves with a reboot of my PC but then will drop again and I can’t be re-booting my PC every time this happens.

Can anyone help me.  I will try to grab a photo of the error message next time I see it.
