Hello,
I would like to report a serious malfunction in eM Client.
The application systematically crashes due to calendar-related issues, making it impossible to access emails.
The problem occurs when a meeting or appointment has been created through the French platform Doctolib.
Once the appointment has been added to the calendar, if the appointment is later changed (date, time, etc.), the next message from Doctolib will cause eM Client to crash.
I don’t know whether Doctolib generates an invalid .ics file (and frankly, that’s not my problem), but the fact that eM Client cannot handle this kind of error gracefully is unacceptable.
Is it a duplicate ID? A malformed recurrence rule? Whatever the cause, it should not make the entire application crash.
After that, the only solution is to manually delete the problematic emails from another mail client and even remove the appointments directly from Google Calendar.
In short — this is unacceptable behavior for a product we pay for every year.
