EM Client Crash Win-10 Pro

I replaced Thunderbird with a paid subscription to EM Client.
Version 8.2.1659

Em Client crashes regularly when attaching a .pdf or .docx file to an outgoing e-mail. Today it crashed while doing nothing.

Shut down McAfee e-mail scanning and EM-client and it still crashes when attaching a file.

I am at the latest version of Win 10 Pro.

I feel like I flushed $75 down the toilet for 2 licenses.

Is there a fix for this???
