eM Client Beta 8 expired

My Beta client has stopped working this morning saying it was only valid until 30th June. It says I should update. When I check for updates it says I’m up to date.
I don’t remember any warning that this was coming. I can’t find any instructions on how I should update. Is it just a case of downloading the non-beta version and installing? Will I lose my settings?

I had this happen this morning. When I did my first install of the Beta v8 it did say that it would only work until June 30th. I just went to the Em-Client website and downloaded the latest ordinary version which is now v8 also. I installed that version. When I came to run it I had a warning about licenses but when I checked my license Menu/Help/License I found that my original free license was now again active so I didn’t have to do anything else. For safety sake you may like to do a backup of your database before doing anything.

My Client also stopped working. This Client was sent me after a problem with retail client. I do not know that is beta. I am here on Mac and now no update available for Mac. The Client is useless. I have two lifelicense but i am so dissapointed, i switched back to outlook. I hope they can return my payment. Support is also useless because no answer in 3 days…

I can say there could be a glitch in the activation process. I downloaded the V8 final after the trial and when launched it locks in read only without any possibility to download new emails (maybe because i configured more than two accounts).
Too bad that when you purchase a license you get it through mail, so i needed to install another email client to be able to read my activation code.
Guess the procedure should be smoothed out.
