eM Client 7 Upgrade Cost?

I have 2 x licenced copies of eM Client 6 and I am being offered  version 7 as an upgrade.
I didn’t expect this to be a free upgrade though, presumably there is a cost?

I don’t know what type of licence I have, how can I tell?

Hello Jeff,
check the Help>License section in eM client.
If you have a FREE or LIFETIME license, you do not need to worry about upgrade fees.

Why am I being offered an upgrade to version 7 if I would have to pay for it? Surely the upgrade message should reflect this?

My bad, apologies.
I have just realised I hadn’t entered my licence key yet in the laptop copy so it was running in demo mode. Once I entered the key it stopped offering upgrades.
