eM Client 6.0 Release Candidate available

6.0.19660 when I posted this, 6.0.19665 now and none of these problems have changed.

After upgrade my eM Client copy to RC build (19665) it stopped downloading messages from IMAP servers… All earlier betas worked with no problem.

It can see via webmail that there are new messages on the server but I cannot download them. eM Client seem to synchronize folders correctly but it won’t download anything. On the other hand while using Outlook or Thunderbird those messages are downloaded with no problem…

I’ve tried and changed the setting to force SSL usage but it didn’t help. No errors are logged into the operations history.

I even tried to downgrade to 2nd beta but in order to do so I would have to uninstall newer version completely which I don’t want to do…

Is there anything I could do to help resolving this issue?

I have a weird situation where an appointment alarm cannot be dismissed. No matter how many times I click on DISMISS or DISMISS ALL, it keeps coming back immediately. Anyone else seen this?

Just got RC2 (version 6.0.19681.0) and, as after the last upgrade, the missing emails are no longer missing. Hopefully it will stay that way this time, but I will report again when it has been running for a while.

Still no progress with stopping long Calendar Titles overwriting the category colour block or emails sent from external software (photo software in this case) reverting to HTML rather than the Plain text setting that is set, and applies to other emails.

Was able to dismiss after meeting start time had passed.

We’ve fixed a few issues that emerged in RC version:

  1. [email protected] problem
  2. new mails not received on some IMAP servers.
  3. Fixed visual artefact when opening some windows in maximized state.

It might looks similar, but these two are not. Anyway experienced user will know what to do and standard user does not need to alter these settings created by setup or suggested by us or his/her email account provider support.

New Mail from Inbox Vanishing.

I have just downloaded version 6 since when new emails disappear from my inbox as soon as they are downloaded. I have no idea to where and cannot find any new settings since I version 5.

I am using gmail only, can anyone help please?

Can’t read new messages - flash in the list and disappear.

My client application has been updated today (14-Dec-2013) to version 6.0.19660.0 and now I have a problem - new unread incoming emails appear in the list briefly and then disappear. I can’t see or read them. If I send a message to myself I can see then including the ones when just disappeared. Close and open the program again - the messages stay now. Read them all and when start - new messages flash briefly and disappear. I checked with web client - emails are on the IMAP server. My phone can see them also. It was not a problem until the upgrade.

I have 9 IMAP accounts configured & Google calendar. I had no this problem before, although I had another problem - the application was hanging on refresh sometimes and I had to restart the application.

This is very annoying ans makes the program which I paid for unusable.
