I’m using my theme from em 6 and with the exception of a few more feature options I don’t see any visual difference between em6 and em7…still a great mail client!

the look indeed is new, though the differences might seem subtle to you 
The whole look is overall cleaner, Menu now takes up less space under the Menu button and Toolbars are Customizable.
Of course, the biggest difference would be for users with high DPI displays, which v7 can accomodate to now.
Changing absolutely everything would be quite confusing for all the users and not much of an improvement.

Yes I agree with you 100% that to change everything would be quite confusing for all the users and not much of an improvement. I do appreciate the subtle cleaning up of the GUI.
Is there a file I can edit to enlarge the folder name font in the folder list?
Also I like that em client releases used memory when not being accessed as seen in Task Manager, great!
