Click in Subject line - Backspace subject line (highlight - Delete wouldn’t work for me)
Write new Subject line
Click in the body of the message
You’ll get this message
If you click Yes , your change is saved and shows immediately in the Inbox.
No closing of eMC and restarting needed…
Notice that Yes is activated by Default.
If you want to do this regularly, I suppose you tick the box - Don’t ask me again lol
I looked at the message header and it does save the change. So there you go, it HAS been implemented. Thanks for mentioning that Andi, wouldn’t have found it otherwise. Makes it a lot easier now doesn’t it?
Now all we need is a changelog to know what has been changed between versions.

I had already disabled asking about editing mail properties in settings or when doing something else, so it did not ask for confirmation when I just edited the subject.
Wish I could remember what I was doing that I disabled that.
If there is a comment or like on a post, it cannot be edited or removed. This also applies if someone is busy commenting. I may have been commenting when it happened, just like now.
