E-Mail Signature 3x

I’ve defined several signatures for my account. Before sending an e-mail, I select one of these to fill at the end of the text.
While controlling the sent-folder I see, that the selectedsignature was filled in 3x (!)

How to repair it?

When you edit the signature in Menu > Tools > Settings > Mail > Templates and Signatures, is it only appearing once?

When you compose a new email, does it only appear once?

Does you email server append a signature to outgoing email?

sorry for my late reply:

  • yes - it appears only once
  • yes - it appears only once
  • no idea, I’m using google (gmail).

Checked gmail - it appends a signature, but only 1(!)

OK, Gmail signatures only attach when you send from the web interface, so that can’t be it.

Werner, what I would suggest is that you delete the signature, and recreate it.

What did you do to correct it?

  1. deactivate GMail-Signature
  2. delete emClient-Signature
  3. create new Signature
