I have added a new outlook account. Works as expected. However new messages are showing twice in the Favorites folder. There is only one copy in the actual inbox. If you mark the message Read, Unread, Delete (in the favorites) the action works both copies.
I have removed and added the account a couple of times. I have other outlook accounts that do not have this issue.
You have the same account setup twice. I suggest you remove both accounts, then add them again.
Make sure when you add the account, when you are forwarded to your web browser to enter your credentials you add the ones for the correct account. If you are setting up account A but you enter the credentials for account B, it will sync with the account B mailbox.
Not the issue - there is only one account [email protected]. In the inbox for [email protected] there is only one copy of the message. If I use the “favorites all inboxes” view I see 2 copies of the message.
Also, in the web interface for the account - 1 copy
Also, only new messages that have arrived after adding the account to em client are showing duplicates in Favorites. Older messages are not affected.
If you look in the Favorite folder and find some duplicates. Right click on one of them and choose Properties then do the same with its duplicate. You will see both the folder (which account) and the UID. If they have the same UID it is the same account you have setup twice.
If they don’t have the same UID, then you probably have one of the accounts forward to the other.
