Duplicate emails from Windows eMClient v4 and v5

Our users with eMClient will send an email that is delivered multiple times. Sometimes up to 4-5 times.

I’ve realized that this doesn’t happen with our call center that only use outlook for Pop access to our server, nor anyone with Mac mail, or myself (Gnome Evolution).

unfortunately Dovecot doesn’t have a suppress duplicates option like Cyrus. If there is a work around for this I’m all ears. We’ve purchased close to 20 copies but I can’t purchase any more until this is resolved.

We are currently trying to find the cause of this issue and fix it. Hope it will be done soon.

Then please send me your IMAp and SMTP logs, Tools - Settings - Advanced, mark off smtp under your account, restart client and then try to send an email.

We are having the same issue here, we sent multiple logs,but still no solution… We have over 100 licenses for our two companies, but this is getting out of hand…

EDIT: can I ask you why you haven’t used paid support if you have bought 100 licenses? It would get resolved much faster than here.

I did use paid support, but so far there is no answer to this issue there, if I am not mistaken, Juraj already closed two elp tickets without solution…

We still have users sending duplicate emails with the latest update. I also didn’t see anything in the update notes when it was installed about fixing this.

In this case I will need your SMTP logs, go to tools - settings - advanced, check SMTP under your account, apply and restart eM Client.

Simulate steps that leads to your issue and after that send logs… to galis@emclient.com together with this topic’s URL in subject.

then you can turn logging off.
