Duplicate Attatchment instead of 2 different PDFs

Hello,

we found a bug with the EM Client regarding sending 2 PDFs in the same Mail using its MAPI connection. If we have 2 different PDF Files on our Desktop and try to send it via Windows inbuild context menu, it generates a Mail and shows the 2 PDFs. But on further Inspection on the PDFs, we can see that it duplicates one of the Files and renames it to the name of the other. This mean, we got the same PDF two times in the Mail, but with different Names, while the oder one will be discarded.

We tried this on 2 different PCs with newly installed EM Client encountering the same bug.

I face the same problem.
My receivers complain that I do not care about what I send to them.

As you both are finding that same problem, then suggest at the moment “to attach the pdf files directly in eM Client compose window” via either the attach button or dragging the pdf attachments into the compose window, and don’t use the right click OS send to mail option.

Then either try the next eM Client update version via the release history page, where from what I’ve read on the forums a new desktop version is due out soon.

If the next eM Client update still doesn’t fix it, then if you have a current active paid Pro or Personal version, go to the VIP support page and login and lodge a support ticket to be investigated.

This issue was already fixed, but eM Client haven’t released a new version yet.

If you have a paid license, open a support ticket with eM Client and they will give you an internal version you can use until the next public release.

I have to send multiple pdf files to banks and public servises. The situation is a mess.
If EmClient have fixed the problem they are obliged to upload the new version which fixes the problem. For this kind of job I have to use Thunderbird . It’s a shame.

I believe this fix is in the following Windows & Mac download link that @gary posted below.

Before updating make a manual backup of eM Client via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating.
