dropping messages

I normally triage my mail stream by looking at the titles in Alpine and deleting the obvious  Spam. I am currently using eM Client Version 7.0.27943.0 and since the last major upgrade it has been leaving messages in the queue. They are still visible in Alpine, which is running on Panix’s machine rather than mine, but there seems to be no way that I can access the messages with the eM Client running on my machine. This is a new problem that popped up with that last upgrade. Are you going to fix this, or must I find a different mail program?

what mail accounts does this happen with? Is it IMAP/Exchange? Are there any error messages in Menu>Tools>Operations?

We’re currently hard at work with eM Client 7.1 which is now in public BETA testing, if you’d like to try and see if the issue is perhaps not present there, you can participate in testing here.

O.K. I dropped back to 6.0.24985.0 and my  problems seem to have gone away. No more obvious dropping of messages. I suspect that I will remain with this version forever.
