Don't receive messages sent to sender's account

I can receive messages sent from any other source, and I can send messages to any address but my own. No matter if I put my own address (from which I’m sending an email) in the TO:, CC:, or BCC: line, it never shows up as received by that account (in the inbox of eM or other clients).

Any idea how I can fix this? (I often like to send BCC: copies to myself of business correspondence.)
