I have a domain containing special characters in hungarian language ü and ö.
My user name is my email address explicitly with these characters. My email provider does not accept the Punycode version as user name.
I can not get my emails with emClient, because it does not connect to my email account.

T do not completely understand.
How is your user name being converted to Punycode (ASCII)?
This is normally accepted for DNS - hostnames
What settings do you use in eMC?
Who is your ISP?

My domain is bütykölde.hu
email address is kapcsolat@bütykölde.hu
The domain is with rackhost.hu
The server is on Hetzner and for my server being able to send and receive emails, I had to create the DNS entries, but Hetzner does not allow the name bütykölde. It has to be entered as
“xn–btyklde-d1a4c.hu”
My MX records on Hetzner are

10 mx05.rackhost.hu. 3600
20 alt2-mx.rackhostmx.com. 3600
MX records on Rackhost are
|bütykölde.hu|mx05.rackhost.hu|10|3600||
|bütykölde.hu|alt2-mx.rackhostmx.com|20|3600||
emClient says “server says: not valid username or password”
No matter if I add the username as bütykölde, or the other version
It works on Postbox client, the one that was purchased by emClient
