Distribution List problem - not sending to all addresses

am having problems with sending to a list of addresses on a “Distribution List”. Get error message “too many recipients” . using version 5.0.18661.0

Unfortunately this is blocked by server not by eM Client, we have no reason to limit this to users.

please set your maximum email recipients on your server higher, that will solve your issue.

Thanks for the response John/Jan. However you are talking to a Luddite - how do I set the server to a higher figure?

Hello,

depends what email server do you use, but usually you need to contact your administrator or any other person in your company (or if you use your own personal server then that company support) responsible for IT resources.

If you use any kind of freemail like Gmail or outlook or else then I doubt they will allow this to you as maximum recipients is set very often quite low to make life harder for spammers and unfortunately it hits users with manners too :confused:
