When sending to a Distribution List, the emails go to “[email protected]” [email protected] instead of John Doe. Is there a setting I have missed?
Messages sent to my Group are displayed with my First and Last name in the FROM column header.
I don’t quite understand what you are describing
In my Distribution List I enter:
John Doe [email protected]
When I send the email, it doesn’t show John Doe, it shows the quoted email address followed by the email address in greater than - less than symbols.
Everyone on the list then sees the full email address twice but not the name of the addressee.
That is the way mine is entered
Checking my sent folder I note that first and last name are what I see in the TO column
What version of eMC are you using?
I think it is the current version: 8.2.1659

I cannot be certain, however, you should check how you have the name & email address listed in your contacts
in the ‘Overview’ & ‘Details’ sections
