Display shows only Calendar, Tasks and Contacts ... No Mail

After attempting to migrate Thunderbird contacts - which did not work - my screen does not include the Mail header and I cannot invoke it by any screen icon - only the Write function with New under File. This is a new install on an Asus laptop running Windows 8.1 and I am unfamiliar with the program.

Help for this newbie would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found the answer from a previous posting by Hans Nieuwenhuis, Right click on an existing header revealed the Mail group was not ticked.

Apologies for not checking earlier problem posts. Thanks Hans.
