Display Problems with HTML Informations in Calendar

We are syncing an Google Calendar between 5 PC with eM Client and some Apple iPhones. The iPhones can’t display the notice field due to the HTML output that comes since eM Client 7.2

The Iphones (and all other MACs) show something like:

blockquote.cite { margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 0px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right:0px; border-left: 1px solid #cccccc }
blockquote.cite2 {margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 0px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right:0px; border-left: 1px solid #cccccc; margin-top: 3px; padding-top: 0px; }
a img { border: 0px; }
li[style='text-align: center;'], li[style='text-align: right;'] {  list-style-position: inside;}
body { font-family: Calibri; font-size: 12pt;   }Test

Is there a possibility to change the notices back to “text”? Please give us a hint, we are not able to organize our workers because of this problem.

Thanks, Thomas

Hi Thomas,

We fixed the HTML output in the newest version. Please download it from our release history: https://www.emclient.com/release-history and let me know if it helped with newly created events.

Hi Russel,

thanks for your reply. I downloaded and installed the new version 7.2.34137.0 and created a new event. I’m sorry, but it didn’t fixed the problem yet. My iPhone still showed the html output in the way as shown above.
I’m sorry to not have a better answer. I hope you can fix it soon because we have some bad trouble organizing our workers.

Thanks for your help

Hi Thomas,
Have you tried creating an event on Google Calendar directly via the web interface?
You may find it will look okay on your iPhones, but may lack line breaks and be presented in “Times” font on the PC. But the event may be better suited to iPhones than what eM Client can currently create.

I have documented something similar on https://forum.emclient.com/emclient/topics/formatting-issues-in-the-description-field-for-events-and…
