disable or delete email account

What’s the difference? I know deleting wipes out everything related to that account. Disabling also caused my folders for that account to disappear from the sidebar. Does disabling also delete all related data?

Hi Janet, by disabling your account, you stop any synchronization happening for that account and hide the account, however all data related to that account are kept in the database, you can thus re-enable the account at any time, causing it to resynchronize with the server.
