Now, we only use this SecondaryDomain.NET mostly internally, but for various reasons, we do have (www.)SecondaryDomain.net forward (301) to our PrimaryDomain.com
This creates the following issue: ALL of these messages (senders) are showing our primary domain’sfavicon.ico as an Avatar… which is not something that I specifically want.
Is there a way to turn this feature off but still retain Gravatar / BIMI functionality? (does eM Client support BIMI?)
Favicon, if there is a supported image specified as the favicon for that domain. Doesn’t apply to hosted servers like Gmail, Yahoo! etc. So a gmail address won’t show the Gmail favicon.
Monogram, taken from the sender’s name
Silhouette, only used if you have disabled both external sources and monograms in Menu > Settings > Contacts.
What that means is that if there is no Gravatar registered for the sender’s address, then BIMI will be used. If there is no BIMI, the favicon will be used, etc.
