Department field missing from contacts

Is there a reason that the department information fails to sync with emclient? I have the information in my contacts on Google, but it is not syncing at all.

not all fields can be synchronized, unfortunately Dept. is one among them.

Are you having it as custom field on Gmail’s interface?

I don’t know that it is a custom field. It is listed in the same area as the Birthday and Gender information. I imported my contacts into Google using a CVS file. I based the file off of the an example file from Google, I thought it would import as dept. is listed in the details of a contact in emclient.

I understand you, it is quite confusing but we can’t synchronize these fields - at least at this moment, because Google does not supports them or it does not recognize them.
