Deleting unintended emails

Lately, I have found that when deleting an email from my in-box, the next consecutive email is also deleted and cannot be found in the “trash” folder or anywhere else. It apparently deleted forever into cyber space. This is a big problem because the unintended deletions are lost forever. Needs to be fixed. Thanks.

What version of eM Client are you using Thomas? If it is not the latest listed in the Release History, upgrade and see if there is any difference.

I have version 8.1.979. and the latest version is 8.1.1032. How do I upgrade to the latest revision without losing my emails and contacts?

Download the latest from the Release History, then with eM Client closed, install that file. You will not lose anything.

If you are unsure, make a backup using Menu > Backup before you install the new version.
