Deleted emails

For the past few days, I’ve been experiencing a serious problem with my version of eMailClient 10.4.5674 (fcbf2a4).
Some emails that I had previously read are no longer in my Inbox folder.
They aren’t in the Archive, Deleted Items, Junk Mail, or any other folders either.
They’ve “simply” disappeared as if they had been physically—not just logically—deleted from the server.
I get the same result from the webmail interface—these emails are NOT there.
However, I’m certain I’ve seen them, since I’ve even replied to some of them and therefore have the messages in my Sent folder.
This is an extremely serious problem for me.
Can I request support, please?
Thank you, and keep up the good work.

Hello @GianLuca,

Since the messages are also missing from the webmail interface, we would first like to determine whether something is moving or deleting the messages from the server.

Please check the following:

  1. Is the same email account configured elsewhere?
Please check whether this account is also configured on another device, in another email application, or whether it may be configured as a POP3 account somewhere.

  2. Check your eM Client rules
Please go to Menu>Rules (Windows) or Menu>Tools >Rules (Mac) and check whether there are any rules that could move or delete messages. Please check both local rules and server rules.

  3. Check rules and filters on the mail server
Please log in to your provider’s webmail and check the server-side rules, filters, spam settings, automatic deletion, or other mailbox rules.

Please be assured that eM Client does not have a feature that would delete messages from your mailbox without an action or rule causing it.
