when an email comes in, and after clicking on the Trash Bin in the Windows notification, the email is correctly moved to the trash in Gmail. The email is still unread, which is basically correct but from my point of view, does not make sense.
After clicking “Mark all messages as read” on the Gmail trash bin, the message suddenly appears again in the Gmail inbox.

I have exactly the same problem Simon. The process of deleting the messages to Trash, marking as read, the messages all reappearing in the Inbox, deleting again, marking as read and messages reappearing in the inbox can go on for some time. Eventually the messages stop reappearing in the inbox. But this is most annoying. The fault appeared some weeks ago. It didn’t always do this.
