Db error

Crashing eM Client

I mistakenly set storage to a USB and got error messages.
I removed the USB and uninstalled Em Client. When trying to re-install. it will work for a half a day or so and give me error.
I have run the db repair and get this error.

System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file    at System.Data.SQLite.SQLite3.Open(String strFilename, SQLiteConnectionFlags connectionFlags, SQLiteOpenFlagsEnum openFlags, Int32 maxPoolSize, Boolean usePool)    at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Open()    at DbRepair.DbTools.OpenConnection(String fileName)    at DbRepair.Form1.CheckConsistency(Int32& affectedRows, DbException& consistencyError)    at DbRepair.Form1.Check(Object state)

Please help as I love this program. Thank you!

Hi Laura, this seems to be a database corruption issue, by removing the external drive you had your database on, some of the data may have become unaccessible for eM client, please create a new database by removing or renaming the current database file or by changing the path to the storage folder in the application settings.

After you do so, you should be able to re-setup your accounts from scratch.
