Database problem iMac

I am using an iMac and running version 7 of eMClient. I thought I would try version 8 and downloaded a copy. Ran it and it said my licence was only for version 7, uninstalled and reloaded version 7 but when I run the program it advises my database if for a later version and I must update.

Can I delete the database and start again? If so how do I do that. Or will I need to pay to upgrade to version 8.

Unfortunately once the database is converted to the version 8 format, it is not usable with version 7.

You will need to remove the database from /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/eM Client, then restart eM Client version 7.
