ok i closed the program normally and then a few hours later went to check my mail then the repair tool ran and no problems found then the repair tool closed and the program did nothing clicked on icon again repair tool ran and no problems found then the repair tool closed so think stuck in loop
This seems very unfortunate. In order to access the program, try starting the program as administrator and disable your antivirus as it might be scanning the database and doesn’t let you in.
If it doesn’t help, please go to the default database location: C:\Users%Current User%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client (you need to enable displaying of hidden folders in order to see it) and rename the database file. At the next start, eM Client will create a blank new database. If your data is stored on server, it will be pulled into eM Client and you may continue using it.

you can just rename the folder C:\Users%Current User%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client so eM Client will create a new one.
