When you deleted a mail, contact,… is this completed deleted with attachment and all?
When something is deleted shrink the database automatic?
Or is there a function that run at some time to compact and cleanup the database?

database should be compacted after you close the program and the changes are synchronized to the main DAT files.
You can manually run the “DbRepair” exe located in eM Client folder in Program files when eM Client is closed if you are unsure if the database has been made smaller.
