I did moved the data file (4.7 GB) from iCloud to my NAS.
Unmounted via eM , restarted the Mac mini again, and tried to mount the data file on the NAS.
Error message is
[DataFile] Data file ‘/Volumes/Ugreen NAS/eM Client Datendatei/eM Prod.emdf’ failed to open.
What did I wrong?

Providing you unmounted the .emdf file from eM Client “before you moved it from iCloud” normally that should then mount and open fine unless it didn’t all copy 100% to your NAS box, or there is some sort of permission problem on your NAS folder possibly restricting it opening.
So I would suggest to close eM Client and then “make a copy of that .emdf file” and then paste it on your eg: internal Mac or Windows “User / Documents” folder, and then reopen eM Client and see if it will mount and open from there to test in case of any possibly permission problem.
If it still wont open from your Internal drive user / documents folder then if you have a current active paid Pro, Personal or Business version, go to the VIP Support page and login and lodge a support ticket.
I had a copy of the datafile folder on the old place (Mac documents folder) and tried those.
Failed to open.
I restored from the latest Time Machine backup the datafile before I imported 17’000 mails and it works.
I opened a VIP ticket.
