Where in the theme do you edit the red? I’d like to make it just a tad more calm. Thanks for making this theme. I think it will solve some issues I have with not being able to see where the selection is.
You will need to edit the string in the XML code that relates to the color of the element you want to modify, the color will be written as a HEX code.
Where for instance (red #ff0000) (green #00ff00) (blue #0000ff) are the base codes.
You can use multiple variations of these codes that you can change to create your look to suit.
You can experiment with color codes to achieve the color you want with an interactive color checker that I wrote here: https://www.compucall.com/html/color_preference.htm
I understand that completely. I am not asking how to do it. I am hoping someone can tell me what the color used in the theme actually is, so I can find it and replace it. I get the procedure. Knowing the base code does not tell me what code/color the highlight actually is.
If you want to change the color of a particular element you need to identify the XML code that determines this - I suggest that you message @CGK to ask which line of code refers.
This Theme is for eMC v7.2 and does not display as the screenshot in eMC v8 so I am sorry I can’t help you further with this.
@CGK could you tell me which lines are the red accents for unreads, etc., and which for the currently “hovered” email? Or tell me the hex color to look for to replace it. I’d like to tone the red down just a tad. Thanks much!
