Corrupted Database Error

Unable to fully install, or at least activate eM Client upon re-installation on Windows 10 machine (with all latest updates installed). Installation generates this error message when it first attemps to open the app:

Which is weird as there is not yet a database on the machine (not yet copied over via restoration from backup).
Any thoughts?

This was just the beginning of my problems. Manually wiped all records of eM Client from hard-drive and then successfully re-installed app. Then it would not restore from backup. Then wanted to force me to keep “free” license. Managed to “deactivate” and then “re-activate”. Now cannot seek new mail (IMAP) without eM Client deleting ALL older, previously downloaded messages!
