Conversion from thunderbird/gmail folder naming issue

Hi

I’m converting from thunderbird to to em client because thunderbird is not living up to its name.

Thunderbird prepends the the string “[GMail]/” to new folder names. EM prepends the the string “[IMAP]/” to the folder names.

I would like to use the existing Send and Drafts folders. How do I change the default IMAP folders used by EM client?

Hello Gary, if you’re using an IMAP account, you should be able to change the default folders in your account settings for each of your accounts, under Tools > Accounts > Your account > IMAP > Default folders. Uncheck the option “automatically detect special folder names” and setup your default folders.
