Conversion Error message

Every time I open eMClient there is the following message tho sending and receiving seems to be unaffected

“Error in client/service conversion”

Any ideas?

Have you tried repairing your database?
Right click your email account (All Mail if it is a Gmail account) in the left sidebar and select Properties > Repair, and click on the Repair button.
It’s a good idea to do a Repair on your calendar as well.

Thank you. I tried that for both accounts to no avail. Grateful for any other suggestions

Sorry to hear that. Maybe a senior member here could come up with a better idea.

It could be that you have an eM Client program installation problem somewhere , or if you have Windows, you may have an actual Windows OS file / files error somewhere causing this.

First backup eM Client via “Menu / Backup” and then uninstall your current eM Client version and “Dont delete the database” when asked on uninstall. Then d/l the same or later version from the version history page and reinstall and see if that fixes it.

Also if you have Windows try running “sfc /scannow” from the admin command prompt in Windows from any available console, such as the Classic command prompt, Command Admin PowerShell, or Windows Terminal. Admin Powershell example below. Reboot after running this command.
