If some people like to feed software s’owner with continuous telemetry data, good for them. I don’t, unless I decide to for troubleshooting purpose. What data are being collected when using eM Client software ? What are the steps to turn on/off telemetry?
Telemetry data collection with eM Client is a purely opt-in process. Unless you explicitly click on the accept button when asked whether to send or not send the telemetry data we have no access to that. We collect modified settings, clicks on UI items and anonymized statistics about account types/providers used. We never access the telemetry data without asking and letting you know. We use these data only for improving the product. We never share these data with 3rd parties.
