Contacts sync not work

With version 7 and 8 beta there is the problem that the contacts from emClient to Google contacts do not work. I get this error message and I don’t know what to do:

Can you please post your screenshots in the comment like this, rather than making a link to some other site. If the image is later removed from that site, then your post here becomes incomplete.

Are you using the same email address to login to this account (found in your settings in Menu > Tools > Accounts) as the address I have redacted in your screenshot?

Don’t worry about the post as you can’t edit it after there has been a comment.

There was a similar issue on this forum where the user was using a different email address to sign into the account than the one listed in the error. Therefore I asked that question.

You could try removing the Google account from eM Client, then add it again.

but now, there is another problem: the “refresh” runs ans runs and runs…

That may initially take some time as it will have to re-cache the All Mail folder.

version 7 works perfect for me: 1) only quick sync and 2) no problems with contacts from and to Google…
