When creating a new email and using autofill as I type the name OR when doing the same name search in my Contacts, I get results that I can see absolutely no relationship to what I’ve entered. For example, if I start by typing or searching on ‘sarah’ I get the one contact I have with the name Sarah, but I also get two other contacts that do NOT have the string ‘sarah’ anywhere in the contact record. What might make these other entries appear? I have cleared recipient history and do not store composed mail recipients.
If the contacts are synced with a server, then the cache may be corrupted. You can right-click on the contacts folder in eM Client and choose Properties > Repair.
