Constant messages asking for CalDAV and CardDAV password.

I don’t need a calendar and don’t know what a CardDAV is.  Every time I access my email this pesky message asking for a password has to be cancelled first. How can I get rid of it?

If your account is like mine, it was setup with email, calendar and contacts, that are all synced with the server. CalDAV is the calendar protocol, and CardDAV is the contacts protocol.

If you go to Menu > Tools > Accounts, then select your account. On the General tab for that account, scroll down to the bottom. You can then unselect CalDAV and CardDAV.
