I suddenly started getting this error for only one of two gmail accounts. This is an old account that was setup in eM Client years ago. I have not made any changes since setting it up. Emails will not automatically sync but will load once I click Refresh. This just started less than 24 hours ago. I’ve rebooted my laptop, checked for eMClient updates. No issues with this email address when using my phone or using mail.google.com. eM Client ver 9.2.2093
If you can access that specific Gmail IMAP account online ok via your browser, then sounds like that Gmail account may have become corrupted in some way so is no longer connecting properly. Suggest two options to fix that.
First if you have been making regular backups of eM Client either automatically via periodic backups or manual backups via the menu, then try restoring a recent dated eM Client backup (when you know it was working) via “Menu / File / Restore” (Pc), or “File / Restore” (Mac) and that should fix it.
Now if you haven’t been making regular backups of eM Client or restoring a backup didn’t work, then suggest to next remove and re-add that particular Gmail account via the "automatic email wizard via “Menu / Accounts” which should then should fix it.
Lastly if your Gmail account that is not connecting is an old POP account, then just add your Gmail account via the automatic email wizard and then once it’s created and working, drag or move your old POP Gmail to the new Gmail IMAP account. Then once you are certain all your old POP mail is in your new Gmail IMAP account, remove the old POP Gmail account.
