Connection Failed after Restore

Hi,
I’m using eM Client ver 8.1.1087. I’m connecting to godaddy. When I install and connect automatically, all seems to go well. I’m able to receive emails. After I do a restore, to get emails that were backed up, I get a attempt to connect failed error.
While having this error, I was previously able to send a calendar invite successfully but no emails. Even emails that were there are now gone after the restore.
Seems the restore is causing some setting to get corrupted. I’ve tried going through but don’t see anything noticeable. I’ve also tried turning off my firewall without luck.
