How can I retrieve my Contacts from a fried Hard Drive??? Thanks.

CONTACTS LOST
This assumes you have a Backup that contains the data you need.
If so then there is a way to retrieve selected data from the backup:
1./ Disconnect the computer from the Internet. This is IMPORTANT!
2./ Make a backup using Menu >Backup, so you can come back to the current database later.
3./ Restore the most recent backup that has the data you want to retrieve.
4/ Export the Local Folder data you need. (Menu >File >Export)
5./ Restore the backup made in step 2.
6./ Reconnect to the Internet.
7./ Import the data from step 4. (Menu >File >Import)
OF COURSE
The above is not relevant, but useful to know, if you are starting with a new PC
in this case simply restore the backup complete to your new PC as below
ALSO
On your new device:
1./ Install eMC from:
https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi
2./ Having installed eMC and skipped initial setup
3./Move the ZIP backup file to: …\Documents\eM Client
4./ Create the eM Client folder if it is not there
5./ Restore from your backup through Menu ->File ->Restore
6./ This will transfer everything to mirror your previous installation
7./ Activate your license in Menu ->Help ->License
