When composing new mail I use CTRL and the plus sign to make the text I am typing larger and easier to read. It does not affect the font size in the final email.

Is there anyway to preset the default view to the larger size for every time I select New Mail?

No, not without affecting the size of the text that will be sent to the receiver.

The zoom level unfortunately does not retain the setting in the compose window as it does in the main eM Client window.
