Column configuration in conversatgion view?

Hello,

will it be difficult, please, to enable “Folder” column in the conversation view (conversation in all views)? The conversation view is very powerful. It could be even more useful if I will be able to see where the individual emails from the conversation reside.

Unfortunately you can’t have a folder column in Conversation view, as the messages that make up the conversation will come from different folders.

Thanks for the quick response. This is exactly the point - I would like to be able to see where the messages come from in a conversation. Or am I missing something?

You might have a Conversation with messages that are in folders A and B and C and D.
Which folder do you want displayed there for the conversation? A, B, C or D?

Any one you choose will be inaccurate, so we don’t display folders for Conversations.

I think that I am after something slightly different.

You are right that when a conversation is collapsed, showing folders doesn’t make sense.
However, it would be great to be able to see the folders of the individual messages when the conversation is expanded (I am talking about the single line view).
