I noticed “Store compose mail recipients for suggestion” in the “Compose” section of V9. This may have been around before, but then it just escaped me until now:
Here, a possibility to automatically remove unused addresses after a (configurable) period of time should definitely be added.
I was quite shocked when I saw addresses in the list that I had used more than four years ago (!!). This may cause a privacy problem if emClient is to be used in a GDPR-compliant environment (which is the case for me).
Always a manual “delete all” as the only option is a bit unwieldy. And you have to remember to do it…
“Automatically delete all not used for x months” would be helpful. This could be coupled with the archiving feature: clean up the recipient history when archiving.
