I normally Save As messages that I want to keep and eM client works very well in this respect. My only problem is that it forces me to save mails in a format ie. ‘yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss’ that conflicts with the standard that I had in place before I moved to eM Client. Cannot see any alternatives to change this and was wandering if there are any plans to introduce this functionality soon.
What was your previous naming standard? Some other date and time format? If so, a multi-renaming tool could do the trick.
Thanks for your reply.
Have been saving emails as ‘yyyymmdd hhmm Txt…’ for a rather long time and eM Client’s default of ‘yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss Txt …’ doesn’t quite fit with this. Just thought that there may be an option to specify how to format the filename.
