Changing outgoing server

How do I change the outgoing server of an existing email account?  I have several email accounts and in Thunderbird can choose which one I want to use as the default outgoing server for each account.

Sometimes one server or another will be acting problematically and I need to change the outgoing server to that of a different account.

Is it possible to assign a different outgoing server to an account once it is set up?  I’ve looked around but don’t see where to do that.

try menu/tools/accounts/smtp.  I haven’t tried it, but I assume it will allow you to change the server.

Yes…thank you.  That is it.  It is listed as HOST instead of OUT GOING SERVER so I didn’t pick up on that being the spot.
