When creating a new account for CardDav, it seems that it does not create the account folder in contacts.  As such, it gives me an error saying that the folder is not found when trying to sync.  If I try to create a new contact folder, I am not allowed to create an account root folder. 
Has anyone had this problem?  BTW same with a CalDav account.

Hello Stephen, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What CardDAV service/vendor are you using o host your account?

If you’re seeing any errors, can you please make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum?

Are you using any security software on your computer?
